What you get when we restore your archived site

Website restoration rebuilds a Wayback-archived site in WordPress with every original URL serving original content: each address that ever existed in the archive — including ?p=, ?cat=, ?tag= — answers 200 with a byte-exact canonical. You receive an install package, a redirect map and a QA report — white-label on request, delivered in 3–5 days.

The package

Eight items, in every order

  • WordPress dumpFixed WP version, wp-cli path, database dump split into ≤20 MB chunks. Imports on shared hosting.
  • install.md (EN+RU)cPanel and generic FTP/phpMyAdmin steps, an nginx snippet, a warning about Windows/tar.gz. Written for a non-technical VA.
  • editing.mdHow to edit text safely, and what must not be touched.
  • credentials.txt + requirements.mdPlaceholder passwords marked "change me", and a five-line server requirements sheet.
  • robots.txt (generated) + sitemap.xmlSitemap lists every live page; robots is generated, the archived one goes to the QA report instead.
  • redirects.csvOne row per URL: url, status, target, reason. Your 301/410 map for everything the archive missed.
  • qa/report.html + qa/gaps.csv% restored, the reason for every miss, priority URLs, list of non-submitting forms.
  • Domain replacementYour domain with PHP-serialized length recalculation. Without a target domain, the host is placeholder.invalid.
Limits

What we don’t do — stated first, not later

Forms and search

Forms render but don’t submit: action attributes are neutralized. ?s= search returns an empty results page, not a 404.

Feeds

410 not-restored-by-policy unless marked priority in your config. Priority URLs must resolve 200 or 301 — otherwise the run fails on our side.

Content

Archived-wins: content is exactly as the snapshot holds it. No rewriting, no “improvements”, no new content.

What the archive missed

If the Wayback Machine has no capture, we can’t restore it. The audit shows this before you pay anything.

White-label

For agencies: nothing points back to us

Your agency’s name on the install guide, the QA report, the credentials sheet. Nothing in the package points back to me. Wholesale $69–89; you bill retail — our public retail price ($99–149) stays above what you pay, so an end client who finds us sees a higher price. NDA on request.

Docs are written for a non-technical VA — your PM never needs to talk to me after handover. We never contact your client.

Next step

Start with the free audit

Before paying anything, you see what % of the domain is recoverable. Pricing is public; samples show real files.

One email with the report, within ~2-3 hours. No newsletter, no drip sequence, no follow-up calls.
